V and Side Notching
"V" notch units can notch square or rectangular tubing up to the unit's maximum capacity.
The tube is automatically clamped before notching, to prevent the side walls from bulging outward during
the notch. The units come complete with one set of tooling for one size and wall (advise when ordering).
Front spacers are changed with different sizes (shimmed for different wall thicknesses). The rear cams
are changed for different wall thicknessess. Although these units are a standard design, they are normally
manufactured at the time of order. Please consult factory for current lead times.
Rear wall intact for 90° corners (Slight dimpling occurs on the top wall of tube as it sits in the die)
